What is GBM Trials World?
GBM Trials World is a free, open-access platform that aggregates every glioblastoma clinical trial on the planet into a single searchable, filterable table. We pull data daily from ClinicalTrials.gov, the EU Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS), the WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP), ISRCTN, and other national registries.
Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive primary brain cancer in adults, with a median survival of 15 months under standard of care. Clinical trials represent real hope for patients and families — but finding the right trial is hard. Information is scattered across dozens of registries, written in regulatory language, and difficult to filter by the molecular and clinical features that determine eligibility.
We built GBM Trials World so that patients, caregivers, and clinicians can find every available option in seconds — filtered by country, therapy type, molecular markers (MGMT, IDH, EGFR), disease stage, and more. Our “Am I Eligible?” tool lets you enter a patient profile and instantly see which recruiting trials match.
Data Sources
- ClinicalTrials.gov (U.S. National Library of Medicine) — primary source, updated daily via the API v2
- EU CTIS (European Medicines Agency) — European trials registered under the EU Clinical Trials Regulation
- WHO ICTRP — international meta-registry covering national registries worldwide
- ISRCTN — additional international registry
Cross-registry deduplication is performed automatically using NCT IDs, EudraCT numbers, and title similarity.
